Acceptable Use Policy

This Policy lists what no one may do on the Platform. It applies to every Business, Supplier, Authorised User and API client, and forms part of each of their agreements with Ordoria.

1. Prohibited Content

1.1 You must not upload, post or send content (including Listings, product images, menus, reviews, return notes, photos, feedback or messages) that:

  1. is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing or discriminatory;
  2. infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or confidentiality;
  3. is false or misleading, including false food information, false claims about allergens, origin, halal, kosher, vegan or organic status, or fake or incentivised reviews;
  4. contains personal data you have no right to share, or special category data such as health information about staff or diners;
  5. contains malware, or links to phishing or unlawful sites;
  6. advertises third-party goods or services unrelated to the order (spam).

2. Prohibited Goods

2.1 Suppliers must not list, and Businesses must not order: goods that are illegal to sell in the UK; counterfeit or smuggled goods, including duty-unpaid alcohol or tobacco; goods subject to a recall or withdrawal; goods past their use-by date; controlled drugs, psychoactive substances or prescription-only medicines; weapons; or any goods the Supplier is not licensed or registered to sell.

3. Prohibited Conduct

3.1 You must not:

  1. access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access, or test the Platform's security without Ordoria's written permission. Report vulnerabilities to support@ordoria.com;
  2. scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download catalogues, prices or user data, other than through approved exports and APIs;
  3. overload the Platform, bypass rate limits or the web application firewall, or interfere with its operation;
  4. create fake accounts, impersonate any person or business, or misrepresent your authority;
  5. share login credentials, or let a person under 18 order age-restricted goods;
  6. place orders you do not intend to accept, or manipulate orders, cancellations, returns or reviews;
  7. use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion or any other unlawful purpose;
  8. abuse, threaten or harass Ordoria staff, Supplier drivers or other users;
  9. use another Business's private order link to access information not intended for you;
  10. use the Platform or its data to train machine learning models, or to build a competing service.

4. Enforcement

4.1 Ordoria may investigate suspected breaches and, depending on the seriousness, may: remove content; disable Listings, promotions or reviews; issue a warning; suspend or terminate accounts or integration keys; withhold Mode B payouts where the law allows; and report the matter to the police, trading standards, the Food Standards Agency, HMRC or other authorities.

4.2 Ordoria will normally give notice and a chance to respond before suspending an account, except where urgent action is needed to protect people, food safety or the Platform.

5.1 Report a breach of this Policy to support@ordoria.com or through the in-app Leave Feedback option.
